"Sail Away", May 2009
Finished Size: 14 x 16 inches
This is an illustration printed on fabric I used for our guild challenge in 2009. Everyone who participated was given a song and because I love sailing, my song was "Sail Away". I just loved the way this illustration looked like fabric. Click on the photo and you can see a larger view of how I continued the quilting lines of the picture out into the border.

"Jenny's Flower Garden", February 2009
Finished Size: 12.75 x 12.75 inches
One of my UFO's that I started in a class in 1999 and finished in 2009. When I finally sat down at a quilt retreat to finish the silk ribbon embroidery I had only 2 baskets left to fill. It took me about two hours to finish the embroidery, machine quilting and binding. We joked at the retreat that this quilt took 10 years and 2 hours to make :-)
